A Quiet Adventurer

 Emma does not look interesting. She is not eye-catching and her general behavior or mannerism does not draw any attention. She sits im her classroom away from others silently, in her own word. She wears button up shirts and plain gray skirts. One would assume that she is just a regular girl with common interests like anybody else but there is something a little special about her. 

 

In her backpack, right next to her books and her lunch is her camera. Right after her class is over she will go out oto take some pictures. Not of the flowers or the landscape, she will venture out to the local park to try to capture some snakes. 

 

Emma's greatest passion is photographing dangerous wild animals. It first started when she was 10. She got her first little camera for her birthday and at her party a big hornet flew into the garden. Everyone else was terrified and ran away but little Emma was amazed how photogenic the insect was. "I slowly crept up to it and took a photo, it was so beautiful and the camera perfectly captured its vivid colors’’. 

 

Every summer or winter holiday she travels to different parts of the world. She already took her cameras to jungles, a safari and underwater. "When I learned that she went scuba diving to take pictures of sharks, I nearly had a heart attack" remembers her father "I could never do such a thing, I admire her bravery". 

 

Emma is currently taking a photography course at a local art center in hopes that in the future she can make a living out of her passion. Currently she only shares her photos  on her instagram, she gained popularity because people can not believe that such a delicate girl gets so close to animals such as alligators or snapping turtles with no fear.  

 

She hopes to go on another adventure to a much colder place than usual. Mostly she goes on vacation to hot and colorful places but this time she is waiting for summer to travel north. She loves to visit vastly different places every time. She is considering north of Canada, northern Norwegian territories or just any other place where snow never melts. Her ultimate goal is to take a picture of a sleeping polar bear. It will be a great challenge but she is willing to try as long as it takes for her to make her dream come true.
