Live Like a Dragon

Excuse me! Are you perchance an ex-yakuza chairman Kazuma Kiryu from a hit video game franchise Like a Dragon? Of course not! But with a healthy dose of imagination by pretending to be him, you can significantly improve your life and your role as a friend and more - grow as a person. 

Kazuma Kiryu is relatable even as the former fourth chairman of the yakuza organisation - the Tojo Clan. He is a very reserved person who is established to be assertive, resourceful and open-minded. After leaving his family and clan, he decides to run an orphanage, which he supports by taking care of the children and working regular jobs every day. Those jobs range from a real estate agent to a hostess club manager, or even a taxi driver! 

Despite trying to live a quiet life, he still gets involved and pulled into a bunch of fights and conflicts in the underground crime world of the yakuza clans. 
Taking aside his unusual shenanigans as a yakuza member, Kiryu is an average person who also struggles to deal with his problems. For his fans, going to work might be easier with this in mind, and a small thought “Oh, I am just like Kiryu!” might provide a healthy chuckle to keep you smiling through the day.   
Even an ex-chairman deserves a break. In his free time, Kiryu enjoys his silly hobbies, like going to karaoke or racing toy cars. After all, it is completely fine to have interests, no matter how childish they might seem. He also frequently goes on dates, makes sure to try new dishes at local restaurants and makes new friends while helping them solve their troublesome shenanigans. 
Our favourite yakuza has a lot of friends and has no trouble making more of them, without judging them. These friends can range from an ex-detective trying to raise his daughter to the manager of a host club. Most people are drawn to Kiryu’s honest, magnetic personality even though he looks angry and scary most of the time, he still has a big heart after all.  
Kiryu’s unarguable best friend and lifelong rival is Goro Majima. Despite them being complete opposites, they are able to understand each other’s struggles and points of view. 
Kiryu understands Majima’s desperate need for frequent fights, which motivates both of them to be stronger, while Majima tries to support Kiryu in his adventures. Likewise, real friendships can be explosive but exciting and stimulating nevertheless. 

Additionally, Kiryu is also an amazing role model for other game characters. Many of them treat him with deserved respect and appreciation, including his enemies. His smile is an incredible reward and sign of approval. Unarguably, this is something everyone can look up to and strive to at least mimic.  
Kiryu Kazuma is a person filled with flaws and trauma but still a great and reliable man. In one of the recent games, he saves the life of a man he barely knows, even though the rescued is an openly cold and distant individual, which later evolves into an honest friendship. Through his fifty years of life, he committed countless acts like that, only because of his need of trying to be a great person and friend.
