A Potential Teacher of the Year
The vampire dad from Twilight series would be a perfect high school teacher. Vampires often have a bad reputation, especially when it comes to working with people or specifically children. Not many people would trust one of them to take care of the education of their children. There is a possibility that the mythical creature would attack and eat the children.
Carlisle Cullen is however the opposite of the stereotypical vampire that is so present in the media. The vampire dad from popular young adult saga is a great choice for the profession that requires being responsible and trustworthy. His transformation from powerful member of the vampiric elite to a doctor loved and respected by the forks community is a testament of his good character. Even more so his commitment to being a good citizen.
Given his origins that is quite an achievement and impressive display of willpower.
To most people being vegetarian requires a level of restraint and strong will as humans are omnivore creatures. One can only imagine that the urge to consume meat (or blood) would be thousand times stronger and harder to suppress if the thing they deny themselves was the only thing that would be able to satisfy an insatiable thirst driven by supernatural forces. Dr. Cullen was one of those vegetarians, the definition of vampire "vegetarian" is someone who does not drink human blood but opts for consuming animal blood. He has absolutely no interest in drinking human blood as he lives a healthy and happy life without it.
"But what if one day his vampiric instinct wins over his willpower and he eats my child?" some parents may ask. His vampiric instinct will never win, we can be sure of that. Not only Carlislie is just a decent person but also a great doctor. He worked as the chief doctor at the Forks Hospital at the moment of the start of the "Twilight” book. At one point even helped the main protagonist when she needed help. Even though the Forks Hospital must have been full of bloody and vulnerable patients there never was an instance of Dr Cullen eating one of the patients.
And when it comes to the topic of parenting, Dr Cullen himself had many children. His "children" were baby vampires or people in need he saved by turning them into one and now live under his care. They all live now safely in a rainy town called Forks. All of them do not really socialize with other children at school but are respectful and good students. The whole family is vegetarian, they do not eat or even harass other people. Even the boy, who in his former life used to be a confederate soldier. He is not anymore, which is a testament of great influence of Dr Cullen.
Dr Carlisle Cullen is not the typical teacher but any school would benefit from offering him a job. Maybe along with lessons of biology and chemistry, which any doctor surely had to learn before studying medicine at university, the jound students could learn to never judge a book by its cover. They could learn that even a vampire can become a respectable and reliable member of a community.
